DELIVERY AND SHIPPING POLICY

This Delivery & Shipping Policy (“Policy”) together with our Terms of Use sets out the policies and procedures for shipping and delivery of products purchased on brainybeans.in (the “Website”) of BrainyBeans Private Limited (“BrainyBeans”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Website or buying products from us, you agree to be bound by this Policy.


1. General

1.1. We provide shipping and delivery services across India. To give you a smooth delivery experience, we partner with reputable third‑party logistics providers (“Logistic Partners”) and may also effect deliveries directly when required.

1.2. We make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver products in a timely manner, but actual delivery times may vary depending on product type, value, delivery location, and other factors described in this Policy.

1.3. By placing an order, you accept this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use the Website or place an order.


2. Terms of Shipping & Delivery

2.1. Logistic Partners: We engage Logistic Partners to fulfil delivery. At the time your order is handed over to the selected Logistic Partner, we will notify you of the carrier handling your shipment.

2.2. Shipping: All orders are dispatched within 3-7 working days of order placement. Please note our dispatch centres do not operate on weekends (Saturday & Sunday); orders placed on weekends will be processed on the next working day (Monday).

2.3. Serviceability: While we aim to deliver throughout India, certain pin‑codes or areas may be unserviceable. You can check serviceability on the Website by entering the delivery pin‑code. If an area is unserviceable, we will inform you during checkout and may cancel orders to such pin‑codes.

2.4. Information Accuracy: You must provide accurate and complete recipient details (name, shipping address, pin‑code, landmark, contact number, etc.). We are not responsible for delivery failures arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.

2.5. Delivery Attempts: Our Logistic Partners will attempt delivery to the provided address. If you are unavailable, up to two delivery attempts will be made. If delivery fails after the second attempt, we may cancel the order and initiate a return to our fulfilment centre.

2.6. Tracking: Once your order is handed to the Logistic Partner, you will receive a tracking ID by email and/or SMS. Use that tracking ID on the carrier’s tracking portal to view status and estimated delivery time. Tracking information is provided by third parties and may be subject to update delays; we do not guarantee its accuracy.

2.7. OTP & Handover: You may be required to share a One‑Time Password (OTP) with the delivery person to verify receipt. If the product includes multiple parts, please verify that all parts mentioned on the package are included before accepting the delivery.

2.8. Damaged / Tampered Packages: Do not accept packages that appear visibly damaged, torn, or tampered with or where seals are broken. Our packages include tamper‑evident seals. Accepting a visibly damaged or tampered package may disqualify you from certain return claims for missing or damaged items.

2.9. Delays: Delivery timelines may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • logistic disruptions;

  • adverse weather;

  • political disturbances, strikes, lockdowns or elections;

  • natural disasters; or

  • other unforeseeable events.

In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email and/or SMS but cannot guarantee advance notice or compensation for delays.

2.10. Delivery Conduct & Liability: We engage Logistic Partners and their personnel in good faith, but the conduct and actions of delivery personnel (including behaviour, timing, package handling) are outside our direct control. We are not liable for acts or omissions of delivery agents, including discourtesy, delayed delivery, or package mishandling by such agents.

2.11. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on the total combined weight of all products in your cart, and the rate remains the same across India.
Each product has its own weight mentioned in the Additional Information section on its product page.

During checkout, our system automatically sums up the total cart weight and applies the corresponding shipping charge. The final shipping cost will be clearly displayed before you complete the order.

Shipping charges collected at the time of purchase are generally non-refundable, unless a return is approved by us after verification (for example, in cases of defective or wrong items attributable to our fulfilment).

2.12. Reverse Logistics & Returns: Returns are processed through our reverse‑logistics partners. On an approved return request, our reverse‑logistics partner will contact you to schedule product pickup. Returns and refunds are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.


3. Limitations & Disclaimer

3.1. We strive to provide accurate delivery estimates but do not guarantee strict adherence to estimated delivery windows. We are not responsible for any losses, costs, or damages caused by delivery delays.

3.2. We are not responsible for incorrect delivery caused by inaccurate address details provided by you, or for deliveries to unserviceable areas where we have notified you the area is not serviced.
